3Does A Spike And Nice 10 Pointer No ChaSing Though

In the woods 2 days. Friday was awessome nice and cold. My hunting partner was blessed with 2 does, I had a small 4 walk in on some scent. Not a lot of chasing seen, but found several new scrapes, and a couple new rub lines. Today is windy in Greene, swirling wind.

Just. Saw a lil guy cruising

Windy at Big Oaks. Bumped turkey's of roost. Not much hope for deer.

5 does and 2 small bucks. wind swirling so i left early.

Two bucks, a spike and a small eight pointer both walked beneath my stand early. Saw two coyotes as well. Got down and speed scouted due to the wind and ended up bumping two does in a trashy clearcut before backing out. Found a bunch a scrapes and a huge rub on a hillside w multiple benches. This was in the HNF Crawford co.

I just pulled some cards,

the big bucks are running all day now. I got some nice ones on cam at 11 and noon...if I had a buck tag, I would be sitting ALL day right now...

Am I the only one ever to try and drink, eat and blow a grunt call thru a camo face mask?

Have seen nothing. Relocated near a scrape.
Too bad I'm in a smaller tree. Wind is still blowing hard.

I forgot I had my net on and spit tobacco once.... that was fun.lol

Saw a mama and her two younguns this evening.... A tree snapped in two 15 yards from my buddy's stand.... It was loud and a good size tree to boot (so he says).... He went flying out of his ladder stand and said to heck with this...

Tomorrow is a new day and hopefully less wind good luck to those who see the sun come up from a deer stand.

My buddy smoked a Toad last night! He had some does in front of him for awhile and his Biggin had to come check them out!

Had to shoo some trespassers off at around 2p. Their dog was all over the place. So who knows what I'll see this afternoon?

Are toads in season right now?

Bucks pushing does.....have been seeing deer since I got up in my stand........to bad a neighbor just went on a joy. Ride with Hus three wheeler right were the deer were 10 minutes ago!

Deer everywhere tonight...chasing....its on like donkey Kong!

Geesh!!!! I don't know what to think. I have hunted the last 14 out of 15 mornings and at least 12 evenings. I have seen a total of 5 deer. A couple little dinks I let walk. The deer around here are doing nothing and it is getting frustrating.

Slowwwww here... was better a week ago.. I don't know... I still enjoyed it.

I was out checking traps this afternoon and a 1.5 year old love sick buck ran out and got hammered on the road right in front of me.

I seen a nice 8 chasing a doe all over theplace......

Went full draw on a nice 9pt yesterday at 3:27pm. I needed him to take 2 steps, that's when a farm tanker came down the hill and engaged his jake brake: game over he was gone at mach2. When he came in he was on a mission. I also saw other bucks who were still going about their daily routines. Does and fawns still together with the occasional loner.

Nothing tonight.........lots of wind and rain! Looking forward to dressing warm for tomorrow morning!

Had 2 small bucks crusing, through the woods, after 1 doe, about 10 minutes later had a monster 10, walk through but just never slowed down enough to get a shot, I have him on my trail am, post pictures of him when I get home tomorrow? Man they are up on there feet up here, all day sit planned for tomorrow

Just had to more does run by me. It's 11:15 and deer are still moving. I have to go to work at 2pm.

saw a nice buck and several does on the move this morning...if only I had a buck tag.
