Double with my son

My son got to come home from FT Drum for the weekend and we were able to lay a couple slick heads down. We were out of meat and this allowed him to take some back to the base with him. It was a fantastic weekend and both deer ran about 30 yards each.

Thanks guys was truly exciting to be able to get it done in such a short window. My son almost got it done on a nice 8 pointer but as most big bucks do, he knew something was up and didn't take the last steps needed to get into the shooting lane. Got some meat in the freezer and some good memories. Its been a while for him to get a deer so seeing his emotions for about 45 minutes was pretty cool. He was tore up! That's why we do it though.
