Who's going to join in on the hunt? My dad and I are going to start out down in Switzerland Co and then work our way up to Marion and Shelby Co with a mix of day and night calling. If you have property between SE and Central IN that you need some coyotes killed, let me know.
Man that is tempting to do. My buddy and I started night hunting last year and killed quite a few. I killed 13 myself. I am at 7 for this season so far, but there has been a couple daytime punches.

Going in the morning now we got a good snow last night. I plan on calling for a while then set snares. If you plan on hunting yotes, now till mid Feb or so is best for calling. Males will be out on the move looking for females to breed. Great time to eradicate some of the yotes in your hunting area. Good luck and keep after them. h.h.

We ended up calling in 3 coyotes, 1 double and 1 single. We also called in 1 fox. The double and the fox were both on gumbootbill's farm. Thanks, Bill!
We never got a clean shot at any of the animals.
Friday we hunted from 6pm to 3am Saturday morning. Got up at 7am and hunted until 9pm when it started blowing snow and our night vision was useless. We got a few hours of sleep to let the snow blow through and got back out at 4am to get some more dark hunting in. We hunted until about noon on Sunday. 42 hours of running and gunning with about 9 hours of sleep total.
We did not call in an animal in daylight, so if we do it again, we will probably devote all our time to night hunting and sleep during the day. I have some video of the single coyote we called in, will upload later.
We went ahead and went to the check in just to see what everyone brought in. In total, 49 teams killed 92 coyotes and 6 fox. One team killed 18! The team that won only killed 3 coyotes, but also had 2 fox. Their 3 coyotes weighed something like 120lb total, big dogs.
My dad and I definitely learned a lot. Not only about night calling, but also about the new equipment we were using.

Here's the single we called in early Sunday morning. He stayed 200 yards out and we had a 15-20mph cross wind. I just wasn't comfortable with the shot, standing with a tripod. I probably got have gotten prone, but I thought he was going to keep coming in.

Those hunts seem like a lot of fun! Would love to do it some time! My buddy and I last year, well actually it would have been the end of December in 2017, called in a double on one of his farms up north from us and killed both! It was a female and a male running together and by golly they were some of the biggest dogs I've ever seen! They were both so big, and a lot heavier than normal, that we weighed them when we took them back to his house. His female weighed a little over 50 and my male weighed almost 70!!! Will try to post pic if I can figure it out..
