My Son's Putnam County Buck...

My son killed this buck with a .44 mag on Saturday afternoon. Couldn't be more proud. 200 lbs field dressed.

Tell your son congrats. I hunt in Hendricks, only about a half mile from Putnam county line. In the North Salem area, I hunt the Big Walnut River bottoms by McClouds Nature Park, some great hunting in that area, if your familiar with it.

I saw that deer opening morning across the creek to the north East from Larry's Red Barn. Couldn't get it to come my way as he was chasin a doe. I thought someone else shot him shortly after. Glad to see he survived for your son. Larry showed me the pic after you sent it to him. Congrats to him!

Great buck right there. Congrats proud dad and to your son. Got to hunt w my son (a30) Thanksgiving day. Another great day and memories. Relish man, lost one of my sons in 13', been weird ever since. So soak it up and cherish it.
