Grandson scores!

Saturday morning my grandson resumed his quest for his first buck. We had flooding rains overnight and into daylight, not to be deterred AJ(grandson) and his step father Dustin went to one of our many shooting houses. At 8:15 am I got the text, "Come help us find blood trail I shot a buck." BZeb, Tony(my son and I went back and shortly had the buck located and AJ took care of field dressing then a long drag out and up, don't they all die in the bottoms?

Anyway..... Another proud moment as a granparent. AJ passed several small bucks to get a nice mature buck, now he has his first!

By the way, I need to thank a friend Randy Staley for lending AJ a muzzleloader so he could continue his quest. Santa Knows what AJ needs
